Jack’s work lies at the intersection of strategy and transformation: enabling organizations to “change gear” and deliver results faster by building high-performing teams and embedding rigorous infrastructure to drive pace. He works with leaders across multiple sectors to help them link strategy (“what to do”) with execution (“how to do it”).
Jack brings particular expertise in the travel, logistics, and infrastructure sectors—and more broadly, in organizations characterized by large labor forces and complex, legacy environments—where he supports multi-year holistic transformation programs.
Examples of Jack’s recent client work include:
- supporting a major global logistics organization to design and implement a self-financing transformation program, combining immediate operational improvements with longer-term digital transformation, which led to a near-doubling of the organization’s share price over three years
- supporting a large travel business to implement a major transformation by building transformation process capabilities with 1,500 colleagues, enhancing clarity on the performance of more than 1,000 initiatives, and increasing traction towards financial and operational benefits
- building execution muscle at another large travel business, enabling the organization to build momentum on its digital transformation by assuring value delivery of the underpinning initiatives in procurement, commercial, and operations
- developing a growth strategy for a logistics business facing the decline of its traditional core, then supporting the initial phases of business building including organization design, technology, and partnerships, and supporting the business to successful launch and scale
Prior to joining McKinsey, Jack served as a FTSE100 group executive board member, and as a transformation leader in a FTSE250 travel business.
