Coleads our consumer packaged goods work for the food and beverage industry globally

Frank coleads our consumer packaged goods (CPG) work for the food and beverage industry globally. He helps consumer goods companies and logistics service providers achieve excellence in performance and health, including sustainable growth, operational effectiveness, and a winning culture.

Frank seeks to expand the impact of our support to global and European food and beverage players. He works with executives in an advisory capacity to develop distinctive strategies, transform existing supply chains, and design new operating models to control costs, increase margins, and enhance competitiveness.

Examples of his recent client work include the following:

  • defining the corporate strategy for a leading global food and beverage player
  • developing a five-year strategy (addressing both growth and cost optimization levers) for a German consumer goods manufacturer
  • devising a portfolio strategy with a confectionary player in Europe, building an analytical foundation to create transparency on the true cost of complexity, creating an ideal portfolio, reducing the number of SKUs, and designing complexity management governance
  • creating a comprehensive operating model design (structure, processes, systems, capabilities) for a leading CPG company across all functions and layers of the organization to increase agility and boost efficiency
  • designing a new operating model and SG&A optimization for a leading CPG company
  • orchestrating a three-year comprehensive transformation program for a leading food manufacturer, covering procurement, manufacturing, plant network, logistics, and supply chain organization
  • developing a comprehensive revenue-growth-management program with a food player in Europe across consumer pricing, promotions, and trade terms
  • defining R&D of the future for a leading food and beverage company
  • defining the ecosystem for a European grocery player with a focus on growth opportunities outside the core
  • developing the business strategy for a leading logistics service provider
  • redesigning the network—including sorting-center design—of a leading courier, express, and parcel company

Keenly interested in the future and dynamics of the consumer industry, Frank frequently publishes works to share insights and spark debate. He wrote his doctoral thesis on electronic transport marketplaces and speaks German and English.
